We are very sorry, we have nothing against your little ones! Cecily’s environment is all about relaxation. Even the best behaved children are curious and, bless them, sometimes noisy. The name of our first company had to mean something to us and to the people of Berkhamsted. The rich historical heritage and castle ruins were the perfect inspiration.
Cecily Neville (1415 – 1495) was the Duchess of York. Not only was she the mother of Richard III, Edward IV and the great grandmother of Henry VIII but also the last resident at Berkhamsted Castle. Noted for her great beauty and strength of character it seemed fitting to dedicate the name of our first company to her.
